3 Thermal Springs in Valencia you should know about if you like hot springs
Wild swimming in Montanejos, the wildest of the thermal springs in Valencia
Montanejos is one of our favorite destinations when we want to leave the city behind and enjoy some nature. The Montanejos hot springs, in Castellon, are an epic wild swimming area in a river surrounded by the forest in the Valencian countryside.
Unlike many other rivers, the water comes out around 26 degrees all year long. The landscape is breathtaking and if you enjoy the countryside visiting Montanejos is a must.
We always recommend booking via Booking.com and always do so with free cancellation…just in case!

The Spa in La Vilavella (Balneario Villavieja) offers bath circuits and special treatments designed to improve injuries that benefit from the relaxing power of the hot waters like arthritis, sciatica or reuma.

Hot Springs in Alicante with a luxury twist in a superb hotel for a relaxing get away
We adore this hotel and try to get there at least once per year. Located in between lavender, almond fields and vineyards it really makes the perfect get away to release some stress and just relax for a bit.
The hotel and its grounds are simply stunning, the infinite swimming pool is the perfect place to be on a hot summer day and their Spa is such a treat. You can do a circuit or some of their services as they also have a Moroccan hamman and many beauty treatments.
*Please note unfortunately as of Summer 2023 it seems the hotel has closed permanently.
