Since 2019 the access to the island is limited to 400 people per day and you need a special permit to visit. You can only get it 5 days before your visit.
However, if you do not want to deal with Spanish bureaucracy you can book the ferry below via Civitatis and they will get the permit for you.

The beaches in the island
Playa de la Concha
Overlooking Corralejo, Playa de la Concha is the main beach in Isla de Lobos. Its waters are as transparent as they can get and the landscape will amaze you as behind the beach you will get a glimpse of La Caldera volcano.

There are small fishermen houses here and there, and their boats in the pier make the area very charming.
There are rocks in the water, making them ideal for snorkelling. You might however want special shoes for your comfort.

Where to eat in Lobos Island. The Chiringuito Lobos Antoñito El Farero

There is only one restaurant in the island, a very casual local spot located in the Puerto de Lobos. It is called Chiringuito Lobos Antoñito El Farero and they only serve seafood paella and fresh fish at very competitive prices.
We recommend you try the fish, as it is as fresh as it gets. If you want to eat in the restaurant you will need to book in advance.
As soon as you get to the island head to the restaurant and book a table and then head off to explore the island and come back in time for your booking.
