The beaches in the island
Playa de la Concha
Overlooking Corralejo, Playa de la Concha is the main beach in Isla de Lobos. Its waters are as transparent as they can get and the landscape will amaze you as behind the beach you will get a glimpse of La Caldera volcano.

Our favourite places to stay in Fuerteventura
Puertito de Lobos
The colours of the waters in Puertito de Lobos are unbelievably blue. Some of the most turquoise waters in the Canary Islands are here.
There are small fishermen houses here and there, and their boats in the pier make the area very charming.
There are rocks in the water, making them ideal for snorkelling. You might however want special shoes for your comfort.

Where to eat in Lobos Island. The Chiringuito Lobos Antoñito El Farero
There is only one restaurant in the island, a very casual local spot located in the Puerto de Lobos. It is called Chiringuito Lobos Antoñito El Farero and they only serve seafood paella and fresh fish at very competitive prices.
We recommend you try the fish, as it is as fresh as it gets. If you want to eat in the restaurant you will need to book in advance.
As soon as you get to the island head to the restaurant and book a table and then head off to explore the island and come back in time for your booking.
Hiking circular route
The circular hike around the island is easy but there is no shade. It is around 12,8 km and takes about 4 hours.
You will get to go up La Caldera volcano and enjoy some stunning views of Fuerteventura and the Corralejo dunes.
