Despite being more than 2000 years old this Spanish hidden hem is not the easiest place to get to. Discover how to get to Zaragoza from the main cities in Spain.
Not a popular or a big one but you will find an airport nearby. Flights however are very limited. As of 2022 you can find connections with some cities in Italy, London, Paris, Lisbon, Brussels and Vienna.
A couple of days should be enough to explore the city so if you are planning a longer holiday you might want to check other destinations around to make the most of your time.
2. How to get to Zaragoza from Madrid
You have fast trains that take you to Zaragoza from Madrid in 1h 30 minutes. If you want to get them as cheap as possible get them with plenty of time. They can be purchased from the Renfe website.
Zaragoza is on the way of the fast train line that goes from Madrid to Barcelona to you can also get to the coastal city very easily.
The train takes around 1h and 30 minutes.
The bus, the cheapest optiom
If you want to save money on the journey you can always take a bus. They are slower but cheaper.
The buses depart from the central bus station and you have few companies.
Alsa, one of the biggest, takes you to Barcelona in less than 4 hours and tickets start in just 12€. They also have routes to Madrid, Bilbao and Pamplona among others.
Hife also offers some interesting routes, mostly to the mediterranean coast.
