The best tapas in Corralejo: Restaurant el Anzuelo
El Anzuelo restaurant is located right by the port in a stunning location overlooking the ocean. Their tables are just by the water and eating in their terrace is just a delight.
They specialise in fresh fish and seafood but you will find a very big menu including all the must have tapas from Fuerteventura.
We had a fresh and lovely avocado shrimp salad that we really enjoyed, the fried Majorero cheese, and the sardines. Everything was delightful and it went down very well with a couple of local beers.
The price was 20€ per person.

Our favourite tour in Fuerteventura
Our favourite tour from Fuerteventura was to the nearby Lobos Island, the most epic and wild volcanic scenery in the Canaries!
Restaurant la Marquesina for another round of the best tapas in Corralejo
Also located by the coast is our other recommendation, La Marquesina restaurant. It feels a bit more fancy than El Anzuelo but the dress code is smart casual. The terrace overlooks the Corralejo beach.
They offer fresh fish and seafood, paellas and also meats. Some of their specialities include salt baked fish, which they do in front of you and set it on fire quite spectacularly.
We had ensaladilla, some local fish, and the calamari. Everything was fresh and tasty.
The price was 25€ per person.

There are many Italians living in Fuerteventura, and particularly, in Corralejo. As a result you will find many bars serving excellent coffee and ice cream as good as in Rome.
Heladería Nativa offers fresh ice cream made in the house the traditional way and it was so good that we kept going back during our time in Fuerteventura.
