Where to eat in the island? The best restaurants in Lanzarote
1. The best restaurant in Lanzarote for the most epic views. Be Papagayo
Papagayo is one of the most stunning beaches in the island. Turquoise crystal clear waters, thin yellow sand and a panoramic view that will leave you speechless.
The day in Papagayo only gets better when you realize that, on top of the hill, you will find a restaurant with the most epic views to the beach.
Nothing like a cold drink after a hot morning by the beach to feel pure happiness!
The place is very beautiful and we had a paella that was the best one we have had in the canaries. We had the arroz del senyoret, a seafood paella that comes with all the seafood very conveniently peeled so you do not have to.
Prices are a bit higher than the average in the island but the view is so worthy. We paid 67€ for a shared starter, a Paella and drinks.
2. Romantic restaurants in Lanzarote for a special meal
If you have something to celebrate or just want to celebrate that you are on holiday La Bodega de Santiago, in Yaiza, is the place.
A beautiful patio underneath a tree will welcome you as a setting to enjoy one of the most modern dinning experiences of the island.
Based in local products all their dishes have an interesting modern twist to them. The have many specials off the menu that keep changing, keeping your experience exciting.
Everything we tried was delicious, all served with interesting local wines. If there is one thing they are famous for is their warm cheesecake, you can not leave without trying it!
This place is however not for every budget. Bill was around 50€ pp.

3. Where to eat in Lanzarote? A local favorite spot for the best seafood
The last one is by far our favorite and a place we keep going back every time we go back to Lanzarote. Bar La Piscina El Pichón is in Punta Mujeres, a lovely sea village.
The place is casual and so is the service. While it tends to be full in summer we have never managed to have them pick up the phone. We recommend to pop by to book a table, specially if you want to go over the weekend.
The menu is based in fish and seafood as fresh as they get. The tuna tataki has a texture and flavor we can’t get over with and we have it every time we go.
The clams were delicious, the scallops to die for… we just love about everything about this place. Including the fact that you can order half portions of many things so you get to try more!
The fish and seafood feast for two with wine was just 52€. We wish we could eat here every weekend!
