A bakery that is much more now. The coffee is delicious and you can get it with a pastry, a bagel, a cake and much more.
The second you have a look at what they offer you will feel temped to get it all. This place is great if you have a sweet tooth as they bake so many interesting pastries, but also if you are more into savory breakfast, as their bacon bagels are great.
It gets busy specially on weekends so get there early.

La Más Bonita Patacona, for a nice breakfast by the beach in Valencia
A great place if you want your breakfast with a sea view and you do not mind spending a bit more for it.
There are more than one place in Valencia but we recommend the one in the Patacona beach. They have simple breakfast with toast and a drink but also a more elaborated brunch menu.
They have a terrace by the beach but also an indoors patio, both lovely settings for a breakfast feast.
Getting a table for the weekend is pretty much impossible but you can book online from their website.

If you want to try an authentic breakfast from Valencia you must look for Almuerzo.
Almuerzo is a meal people only have in Valencia, sort of a second breakfast people working in manual jobs used to do to get energy for the tiring day.
It consists of a drink, a baguette ( A bocadillo in Spanish) and a coffee, and it is served with olives and peanuts. What makes it special is the bar, where you will find the ingredients for you to pick and get in the bread.
Omelettes, sausages, chicken, vegetables… you name it!
You will normally walk to the bar, have a look and pick your favorites and they will put them in bread for you.
There are many bars offering Almuerzo all over Valencia, but we love this one in El Cabanyal.
